Horse racing week ahead as we build to the G.1 Betfair Ascot Chase and rescheduled Newbury card
Fingers crossed we should see most meetings taking place this week, provided we don't go from frozen racetracks to waterlogged ones! You can expect the going to be pretty heavy just about everywhere mind you looking at the weather forecast.
Race of the week is the G.1 Betfair Ascot Chase at Ascot on Saturday with the G.2 Denman Chase and Game Spirit Chase both rescheduled for Sunday at Newbury having been abandoned at the weekend. Fingers crossed the weather Gods play nicely and both meetings go ahead and the stars that are due to run all show-up.
More on those three big races over the obstacles and all the horse racing this week will of course be found right here on Triple G over the coming days.

Horse racing this week
The week gets underway with a big race, somewhat unusually, with the Grade Two Agetur UK Kingmaker Novices' Chase over two-mile at Warwick. Allmankind is a classy animal and looks to follow-up on his G.1 Henry VIII Novices' Chase victory at Sandown on Tingle Creek day before a likely tilt at the Arkle. He will be odds-on here and should get the job done.Race of the week is the G.1 Betfair Ascot Chase at Ascot on Saturday with the G.2 Denman Chase and Game Spirit Chase both rescheduled for Sunday at Newbury having been abandoned at the weekend.
