Best bet for the horse racing at Wolverhampton Tuesday 29th January 2019

I was planning on having a bet Tuesday in the 1m½f Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Novice Stakes the lucky last of the day at 8.15 up at Dunstall Park Wolverhampton. Sadly the world and their wife clearly see what I saw when American Graffiti put in a performance full of promise on his first effort when second at Chelmsford over 1m2f on debut 19 days ago. He is 1-3 and un-backable!

Earlier on the card, the bet you can have is Gulliver in the 6f Betway Heed Your Hunch Handicap at 7.15. He drops into slightly calmer waters having been in with some decent types recently hence he has gone thirteen runs since his last win in 2017. The 5yo has a record here of 1st, 2nd, 2nd; that last second-place finish was behind the speedy Kachy here in December. Stall 8 isn’t as bad a draw as it might first appear, the stable's runners have been going well, and I think he can give this line-up weight and a beating so have the 11-2 overnight BPG. The obvious danger is 3yo James Street but he is taking on his elders for the first time and this is his first go on Tapeta. He could be well in but has too many questions to answer for me at the prices so I am happy to take him on.
