Best bet for the horse racing at Kempton Thursday 29th November

They race on the All-Weather at Kempton and Chelmsford City Thursday evening and I am getting involved at the Essex track. Charlie Appleby saddles lightly raced 4yo Festival Of Ages in the 1m2f 32Red Casino Novice Stakes at 4.30 at Kempton; I really wanted to back him but he is 1-2 best so stays in the notebook for another day.

The bet I am having over in Essex is in the 20 Free Bets At Totesport.com Apprentice Handicap over 7f. The race looks very competitive but I think track and trip winner Jellmood might be the answer. Both career wins have come off higher ratings than today's mark of 85 and he is due to rise a further 1lb in the ratings so does look well in. The gelding will be wearing more jewellery than Mr T with a hood and tongue tie on plus cheekpieces are also going on for the first time but if it does the trick he will make these go. I have a bit of the 8-1.

Be lucky
