Best bet for the horse racing at Chelmsford City Tuesday 22nd July
A little bit of déjà vu today as I put up another Godolphin one trained by Saeed bin Suroor, Dubai Future having won for me yesterday at Windsor in a race that got a bit shambolic at post time and led to a poxy Rule 4!
The race in question on Tuesday is the mile Harrogate Spa Water Handicap at Chelmsford City due off at 6.50. Cantiniere looked like a filly to keep an eye on when she confirmed the promise shown on her belated debut in October last year when she was second by winning a Wolverhampton novice event in November 2018. She followed up at Lingfield over 1m in December to make it two wins from three starts. She ran poorly in a big handicap at Meydan in January on the dirt before finishing third here at Chelmsford earlier this month over 1m2f. Stall 7 aint great but you have some time to get across before the turn and I would expect to see Hayley Turner try and do just that as the filly likes to be prominent. I have a bit of the 100-30 early.
