A look at the Stallion Fees for the coming 2023 covering season
Not that I am sitting here with a band of Broodmares in the back garden at Triple G Towers, but I do like to keep an eye on the Stallion Fees for the season and Coolmore released their price list for 2023 last week. No Nay Never is the most expensive Stallion on the list for the coming covering season at 175,000 Euros. Wootton Bassett isn't far behind at 150,000 Euros with a visit for your mare to St Marks Basilica setting you back 65,000 Euros. For those on a tighter budget Gustav Klimt is available for a mere 4,000 Euros a visit.
Over at Dalham Hall Stud it will surprise no-one that Dubawi heads the Darley price list in the UK at £350,000; interestingly old favourite of mine Farhh is advertised as Private. Sticking with Darley at their Kildangan Stud in Ireland Night Of Thunder tops the list at 100,000 Euros. Interestingly with Blue Point and Space Blues already standing there Naval Crown will join them this year.
